Let’s say it like this: the World Series of Poker are one of the most famous poker events in the world. It’s organized in more than 70 events, offering the fans different buy-ins and poker formats. In most of the cases the WSOP events are being held in the well known Rio Casino in Las Vegas, but not always.


In every tournament the players are starting with the same amount of chips. The guy who wins is the guy who is the only one standing at the end.


Many poker players dream of entering the WSOP events. But how much does it cost? Well, let’s say it like this – it’s not cheap. You’d need $10,000 just to enter the Main event, while some lesser events would require a smaller sum.


The good news is that basically everyone could enter the World Series of Poker, as long as he/she is at least 21-years old and has enough money to pay the buy-in which is required. Basically it’s quite possible to see a final table of absolute novices. Everything is possble for everyone when it comes to the World Series of Poker. This is part of the season why these events are so great.


When you win a WSOP event, you’re not just winning money, but also a special coveted WSOP bracelet. We can’t tell you how much exactly one of these bracelet costs, but nine years ago Peter Eastgate sold his bracelet for $147,500. He donated these money to UNICEF.
